FBI Will Assist In Investigating Attempted Assassination Of Zelenskyy’s First Aide Shefir

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI; the United States) will assist Ukrainian law enforcers in investigating the attempted assassination of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s First Aide Serhii Shefir.

Ukrainian News agency learned this from Yevhen Yenin, first deputy interior affairs minister.

The deputy minister did not provide any details of the assistance.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the bullets found in the car of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s First Aide Serhii Shefir are of Hungarian origin.

He says that 12 bullets were shot, two of them wounded Shefir’s driver.

The investigation is being carried out by the best specialists of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) and the National Police.

Interior Affairs Minister Denys Monastyrskyi states that someone wanted to kill Shefir, not just intimidate him.
