On September 19, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,265 over September 18 to 2,350,646, and the number of deaths increased by 44 over September 18 to 54,919; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 43.1%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 4.3%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of September 20, a total of 2,350,646 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 54,919 fatal cases; 2,231,417 had recovered.

On September 19, a total of 2,265 new disease cases were recorded, 44 people died, and 565 people recovered.

Therefore, as of September 19, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (2,265 vs 565).

At the same time, on September 19, a total of 1,255 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 28.9% over September 18.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 18, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 3,983 over September 17 to 2,348,381, and the number of deaths increased by 46 over September 17 to 54,875; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 36.1%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 41.8%.

On September 17, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 6,234 over September 16 to 2,344,398, and the number of deaths increased by 79 over September 16 to 54,829; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 5.9%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 20.2%.
