Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Down 45% To 1,205, Number Of New Lethal Cases Down 18.2% To 18 On September 12

On September 12, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 1,205 over September 11 to 2,317,824, and the number of deaths increased by 18 over September 11 to 54,360; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 45%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 18.2%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of September 12, a total of 2,317,824 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 54,360 fatal cases; 2,221,868 had recovered.

On September 12, a total of 1,205 new disease cases were recorded, 18 people died, and 758 people recovered.

Therefore, as of September 12, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (1,205 vs 758).

At the same time, on September 12, a total of 833 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 33.7% over September 11.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 11, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,196 over September 10 to 2,316,619, and the number of deaths increased by 22 over September 10 to 54,342; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 43.2%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 68.1%.
