Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 32.1% To 3,663, Number Of New Lethal Cases Up 1.7% To 61 On September 8

On September 8, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 3,663 over September 7 to 2,306,939, and the number of deaths increased by 61 over September 7 to 54,175; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 32.1%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 1.7%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of September 9, a total of 2,306,939 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 54,175 fatal cases; 2,217,563 had recovered.

On September 8, a total of 3,663 new disease cases were recorded, 61 people died, and 1,546 people recovered.

Therefore, as of September 8, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (3,663 vs 1,546).

At the same time, on September 8, a total of 981 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 3.5% over September 7.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 7, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,772 over September 6 to 2,303,276, and the number of deaths increased by 60 over September 6 to 54,114; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 26.2%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 13.2%.

On September 6, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,197 over September 5 to 2,300,504, and the number of deaths increased by 53 over September 5 to 54,054; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.8 times, and the number of new lethal cases rose 2.9 times.
