Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 26.2% To 2,772, Number Of New Lethal Cases Up 13.2% To 60 On September 7

On September 7, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,772 over September 6 to 2,303,276, and the number of deaths increased by 60 over September 6 to 54,114; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 26.2%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 13.2%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of September 8, a total of 2,303,276 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 54,114 fatal cases; 2,216,017 had recovered.

On September 7, a total of 2,772 new disease cases were recorded, 60 people died, and 1,411 people recovered.

Therefore, as of September 7, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (2,772 vs 1,411).

At the same time, on September 7, a total of 1,017 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 2.1 times over September 6.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, on September 6, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,197 over September 5 to 2,300,504, and the number of deaths increased by 53 over September 5 to 54,054; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.8 times, and the number of new lethal cases rose 2.9 times.

On September 5, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 773 over September 4 to 2,298,307, and the number of deaths increased by 18 over September 4 to 54,001; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 43.9%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 5.9%.
