On September 6, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,197 over September 5 to 2,300,504, and the number of deaths increased by 53 over September 5 to 54,054; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.8 times, and the number of new lethal cases rose 2.9 times.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of September 7, a total of 2,300,504 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 54,054 fatal cases; 2,214,606 had recovered.

On September 6, a total of 2,197 new disease cases were recorded, 53 people died, and 1,429 people recovered.

Therefore, as of September 6, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (2,197 vs 1,429).

At the same time, on September 6, a total of 485 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 23.7% over September 5.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 5, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 773 over September 4 to 2,298,307, and the number of deaths increased by 18 over September 4 to 54,001; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 43.9%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 5.9%.

On September 4, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 1,379 over September 3 to 2,297,534, and the number of deaths increased by 17 over September 3 to 53,983; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 47.2%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 61.4%.
