Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Down 43.9% To 773, Number Of New Lethal Cases Up 5.9% To 18 September 5

On September 5, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 773 over September 4 to 2,298,307, and the number of deaths increased by 18 over September 4 to 54,001; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 43.9%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 5.9%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of September 6, a total of 2,298,307 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 54,001 fatal cases; 2,213,177 had recovered.

On September 5, a total of 773 new disease cases were recorded, 18 people died, and 457 people recovered.

Therefore, as of September 5, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (773 vs 457).

At the same time, on September 5, a total of 635 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 29.4% over September 4.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 4, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 1,379 over September 3 to 2,297,534, and the number of deaths increased by 17 over September 3 to 53,983; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 47.2%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 61.4%.

On September 3, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,614 over September 2 to 2,296,155, and the number of deaths increased by 44 over September 2 to 53,966; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 2.9%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 2.2%.
