The Naftogaz of Ukraine gas supply company LLC increased the price of gas by 1.9% to UAH 12 per cubic meter as a supplier of last resort for September compared to August.
This is evidenced by the data on the company's website, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to them, the consumer becomes a client of the supplier of the last resort for 60 days in case of termination of the contract with the previous supplier and in the absence of a new contract.
At the same time, after 60 days, if the consumer has not found a new supplier, the gas supply is terminated.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Naftogaz of Ukraine gas supply company has transferred its customers to a Fixed annual tariff with a price of UAH 7.96 per cubic meter of gas (including VAT, excluding the cost of distribution and delivery) from May 1.
On April 7, the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities obliged gas suppliers to provide an annual gas tariff for the population from May 1.
On August 1, 2020, Ukraine terminated the provision on imposing public service obligations (PSO) on the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company for the sale of gas to the population and launched a gas market for household consumers.
