Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 13.7% To 962, Number Of New Lethal Cases Down 44% To 14 On July 29

On July 29, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 962 over July 28 to 2,251,869, and the number of deaths increased by 14 over July 28 to 52,930; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 13.7%, and the number of new lethal cases fell by 44%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of July 30, a total of 2,251,869 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 52,930 fatal cases; 2,186,353 people had recovered.

On July 29, a total of 962 new disease cases were recorded, 14 people died, and 504 people recovered.

Therefore, as of July 29, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (962 vs 504).

At the same time, on July 29, a total of 488 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 1.7% over July 28.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 28, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 846 over July 27 to 2,250,907, and the number of deaths increased by 25 over July 27 to 52,916; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 18%, and the number of new lethal cases rose by 66.7%.

On July 27, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 717 over July 26 to 2,250,061, and the number of deaths increased by 15 over July 26 to 52,891; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 5.3%, and the number of new lethal cases fell by 44.4%.
