Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 18% To 846, Number Of New Lethal Cases Up 66.7% To 25 On July 28

On July 28, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 846 over July 27 to 2,250,907, and the number of deaths increased by 25 over July 27 to 52,916; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 18%, and the number of new lethal cases rose by 66.7%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of July 29, a total of 2,250,907 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 52,916 fatal cases; 2,185,849 people had recovered.

On July 28, a total of 846 new disease cases were recorded, 25 people died, and 510 people recovered.

Therefore, as of July 28, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (846 vs 510).

At the same time, on July 28, a total of 480 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 5% over July 27.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 27, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 717 over July 26 to 2,250,061, and the number of deaths increased by 15 over July 26 to 52,891; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 5.3%, and the number of new lethal cases fell by 44.4%.

On July 26, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 681 over July 25 to 2,249,344, and the number of deaths increased by 27 over July 25 to 52,876; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 3.2 times, and the number of new lethal cases rose 13.5 times.
