Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 5.3% To 717, Number Of New Lethal Cases Down 44.4% To 15 On July 27

On July 27, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 717 over July 26 to 2,250,061, and the number of deaths increased by 15 over July 26 to 52,891; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 5.3%, and the number of new lethal cases fell by 44.4%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of July 28, a total of 2,250,061 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 52,891 fatal cases; 2,185,339 people had recovered.

On July 27, a total of 717 new disease cases were recorded, 15 people died, and 459 people recovered.

Therefore, as of July 27, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (717 vs 459).

At the same time, on July 27, a total of 507 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 90.6% over July 26.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 26, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 681 over July 25 to 2,249,344, and the number of deaths increased by 27 over July 25 to 52,876; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 3.2 times, and the number of new lethal cases rose 13.5 times.

On July 25, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 213 over July 24 to 2,248,663, and the number of deaths increased by two over July 24 to 52,849; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 25.5%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 83.3%.
