Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 9.5% To 655, Number Of New Lethal Cases Down 48% To 13 On July 20

On July 20, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 655 over July 19 to 2,245,930, and the number of deaths increased by 13 over July 19 to 52,769; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 9.5%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 48%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of July 21, a total of 2,245,930 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 52,769 fatal cases; 2,182,502 people had recovered.

On July 20, a total of 655 new disease cases were recorded, 13 people died, and 577 people recovered.

Therefore, as of July 20, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (577 vs 655).

At the same time, on July 20, a total of 508 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 82.1% over July 19.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 19, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 598 over July 18 to 2,245,275, and the number of deaths increased by 25 over July 18 to 52,756; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 3.3 times, and the number of new lethal cases rose 5 times.

On July 18, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 182 over July 17 to 2,244,495, and the number of deaths increased by five over July 17 to 52,731; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 39.1%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 37.5%.
