Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 3.3 Times To 598, Number Of New Lethal Cases Up 5 Times To 25 On July 19

On July 19, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 598 over July 18 to 2,245,275, and the number of deaths increased by 25 over July 18 to 52,756; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 3.3 times, and the number of new lethal cases rose 5 times.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of July 20, a total of 2,245,275 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 52,756 fatal cases; 2,181,925 people had recovered.

On July 19, a total of 598 new disease cases were recorded, 25 people died, and 540 people recovered.

Therefore, as of July 19, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (540 vs 598).

At the same time, on July 19, a total of 279 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 9.1% over July 18.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 18, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 182 over July 17 to 2,244,495, and the number of deaths increased by five over July 17 to 52,731; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 39.1%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 37.5%.

On July 17, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 299 over July 16 to 2,244,495, and the number of deaths increased by eight over July 16 to 52,726; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 49.4%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 50%.
