Rada Will Hold Extraordinary Meeting On July 20 At 2 PM

The Verkhovna Rada will hold an extraordinary meeting on July 20 at 2 p.m.

The corresponding order was published on Facebook by Olha Tunii, the press secretary of the Rada Chairman Dmytro Razumkov, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov signed an order to hold an extraordinary plenary session of the Parliament at the request of the President of Ukraine - tomorrow, July 20, at 2 p.m.," she wrote in a post with the order.

The parliamentarians will consider 10 resolutions on the abolition of the results of voting for bills in general, which block their signing by Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Razumkov, and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The resolutions relate to bills 3711-d on granting international organizations a decisive vote in the selection of candidates for members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges (HQCJ), 3822 on the reorganization of UkrOboronProm, 5068 on the creation of an ethical council and a service of disciplinary inspectors of the High Council of Public Justice (HCPJ), 5069 on the introduction of a fine for failure to comply with the requirements of the disciplinary inspector of the HCPJ.

Razumkov instructed his First Deputy Ruslan Stefanchuk to hold the meeting.

A spokeswoman for Razumkov noted that on July 20-21, the Chairman of the Rada is on leave for family reasons.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Rada Member from the Holos faction Yaroslav Zhelezniak announced that the Rada would hold an extraordinary meeting on July 20 at 2 p.m.
