Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 2.8 Times To 481, Number Of New Lethal Cases Up 5.4 Times To 36 On July 12

On July 12, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 481 over July 11 to 2,241,698, and the number of deaths increased by seven over July 11 to 52,640; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.8 times, and the number of new lethal cases rose 5.4 times.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of July 13, a total of 2,241,698 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 52,640 fatal cases; 2,178,279 people had recovered.

On July 12, a total of 481 new disease cases were recorded, seven people died, and 750 people recovered.

Therefore, as of July 12, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (750 vs 481).

At the same time, on July 12, a total of 249 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 6.4% over July 11.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 11, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 174 over July 10 to 2,241,217, and the number of deaths increased by seven over July 10 to 52,604; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 40%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 40%.

On July 10, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 290 over July 9 to 2,241,043, and the number of deaths increased by 5 over July 9 to 52,597; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 42.8%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased 4 times.
