Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 6.2% To 655, Number Of New Lethal Cases Down 47.8% To 12 On July 8

On July 8, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 655 over July 7 to 2,240,246, and the number of deaths increased by 12 over July 7 to 52,572; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 6.2%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 47.8%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of July 9, a total of 2,240,246 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 52,572 fatal cases; 2,176,110 people had recovered.

On July 8, a total of 655 new disease cases were recorded, 12 people died, and 885 people recovered.

Therefore, as of July 8, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (885 vs 655).

At the same time, on July 8, a total of 396 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 2% over July 7.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 7, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 617 over July 6 to 2,239,591, and the number of deaths increased by 23 over July 6 to 52,560; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 1.1%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 30.3%.

On July 6, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 610 over July 5 to 2,238,974, and the number of deaths increased by 33 over July 5 to 52,537; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 12.8%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 65%.
