Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 12.8% To 610, Number Of New Lethal Cases Up 65% To 33 On July 6

On July 6, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 610 over July 5 to 2,238,974, and the number of deaths increased by 33 over July 5 to 52,537; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 12.8%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 65%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of July 7, a total of 2,238,974 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 52,537 fatal cases; 2,174,353 people had recovered.

On July 6, a total of 610 new disease cases were recorded, 33 people died, and 1,666 people recovered.

Therefore, as of July 6, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (1,666 vs 610).

At the same time, on July 6, a total of 458 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 72.2% over July 5.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 5, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 541 over July 4 to 2,238,364, and the number of deaths increased by 20 over July 4 to 52,504; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.2 times, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 42.9%.

On July 4, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 244 over July 3 to 2,237,823, and the number of deaths increased by 14 over July 3 to 52,484; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 35.3%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 40%.
