Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 2.2 Times To 541, Number Of New Lethal Cases Up 42.9% To 20 On July 5

On July 5, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 541 over July 4 to 2,238,364, and the number of deaths increased by 20 over July 4 to 52,504; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.2 times, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 42.9%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of July 5, a total of 2,238,364 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 52,504 fatal cases; 2,172,687 people had recovered.

On July 5, a total of 541 new disease cases were recorded, 20 people died, and 1,086 people recovered.

Therefore, as of July 5, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (1,086 vs 541).

At the same time, on July 5, a total of 266 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 20.1% over July 4.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 4, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 244 over July 3 to 2,237,823, and the number of deaths increased by 14 over July 3 to 52,484; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 35.3%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 40%.

On July 3, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 377 over July 2 to 2,237,553, and the number of deaths increased by 10 over July 2 to 52,470; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 46.5%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 72.2%.
