Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Down 35.3% To 244, Number Of New Lethal Cases Up 40% To 14 On July 4

On July 4, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 244 over July 3 to 2,237,823, and the number of deaths increased by 14 over July 3 to 52,484; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 35.3%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 40%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of July 4, a total of 2,237,823 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 52,484 fatal cases; 2,171,601 people had recovered.

On July 4, a total of 244 new disease cases were recorded, 14 people died, and 419 people recovered.

Therefore, as of July 4, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (419 vs 244).

At the same time, on July 4, a total of 333 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 27.6% over July 3.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 3, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 377 over July 2 to 2,237,553, and the number of deaths increased by 10 over July 2 to 52,470; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 46.5%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 72.2%.

On July 2, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 705 over July 1 to 2,237,202, and the number of deaths increased by 36 over July 1 to 52,460; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 1.29%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 9%.
