Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 11.4% To 705, Number Of New Lethal Cases Up 27.5% To 51 On June 30

On June 30, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 705 over June 29 to 2,235,801, and the number of deaths increased by 51 over June 29 to 52,391; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 11.4%, and the number of new lethal cases rose 27.5%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of July 1, a total of 2,235,801 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 52,391 fatal cases; 2,168,387 people had recovered.

On June 30, a total of 705 new disease cases were recorded, 51 people died, and 1,719 people recovered.

Therefore, as of June 30, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (1,719 vs 705).

At the same time, on June 30, a total of 464 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 29% over June 29.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 29, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 633 over June 28 to 2,235,096, and the number of deaths increased by 40 over June 28 to 52,340; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 3.5 times, and the number of new lethal cases rose 8 times.

On June 28, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 182 over June 27 to 2,234,463, and the number of deaths increased by five over June 27 to 52,300; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 36.1%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 44.4%.
