Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Down 6.5% To 876, Number Of New Lethal Cases Down 8.6% To 53 On June 24

On June 24, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 876 over June 23 to 2,232,790, and the number of deaths increased by 53 over June 23 to 52,234; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 6.5%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 8.6%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of June 25, a total of 2,232,790 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 52,234 fatal cases; 2,160,137 people had recovered.

On June 24, a total of 876 new disease cases were recorded, 53 people died, and 2,405 people recovered.

Therefore, as of June 24, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (2,405 vs 876).

At the same time, on June 24, a total of 489 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 12.5% over June 23.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 23, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 937 over June 22 to 2,231,914, and the number of deaths increased by 58 over June 22 to 52,181; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 12.2%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 17%.

On June 22, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 835 over June 21 to 2,230,977, and the number of deaths increased by 70 over June 21 to 52,123; at the same time, the number of new cases increased 2.8 times, and the number of new lethal cases increased 3.3 times.
