NBU Buys USD 113.8 Million On Interbank Market And Sells USD 20 Million On June 14-18

In the period from June 14 to 18, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) bought USD 113.8 million on the interbank foreign exchange market and sold USD 20 million.

The NBU has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The NBU bought USD 74 million at a uniform rate and USD 39.8 million using the Matching mechanism.

USD 20 million was sold at a u uniform rate.

Since the beginning of the year, the National Bank has bought USD 699.5 million at a uniform rate and sold USD 90 million.

Since the beginning of the year, USD 119.8 million has been purchased using the Matching functionality.

In 2020, the National Bank bought USD 4,929 million on the interbank foreign exchange market and sold USD 3,891 million.

Using the Matching functionality, USD 478.5 million was purchased in 2020 and USD 802 million sold.

During the currency auctions, USD 270.1 million was sold, while the currency was not bought at the auctions.

At a single rate, USD 4,450.5 million was purchased, and USD 2,818.9 million was sold.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2019, the National Bank bought USD 8,462.6 million on the interbank foreign exchange market and sold USD 529.23 million.
