Number Of People Vaccinated With 1st Dose Down 15.8% To 30,744, With 2nd Dose Up 23.6% To 23,585 June 10

On June 10, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine decreased by 15.8% over June 9 to 30,744, and the number of those vaccinated with the second one increased by 23.6% to 23,585.

The Health Ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 1,395,310 people have received the first dose of the vaccine and 204,038 people have received the second dose of the vaccine (completed the vaccination).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 10, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine decreased by 16.9% over June 9 to 36,498, and the number of those vaccinated with the second one increased twice to 19,075.

On June 10, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 1,603 over June 9 to 2,221,427, and the number of deaths increased by 70 over June 9 to 51,577; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 10.2%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 27.8%.

According to the report, as of the morning of June 11, a total of 2,221,427 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 51,577 fatal cases; 2,120,780 people had recovered.

On June 10, a total of 1,603 new disease cases were recorded, 70 people died, and 5,583 people recovered.

Therefore, as of June 10, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (1,603 vs 5,583).

As of the morning of June 11, the overall number of currently coronavirus-infected people in Ukraine was 49,070, down 7.6% over June 10.

Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (210,520), Kharkiv region (147,740), and Odesa region (140,049).
