Cabinet Dismisses Naftogaz Board Chair Kobolev – MP Vasylevska-Smahliuk

The Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Andrii Kobolev, board chairperson of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company.

Member of Parliament Olha Vasylevska-Smahliuk (Servant of the People faction) wrote about this on her Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The Cabinet of Ministers has just dismissed Andrii Kobolev from the post of chairperson of Naftogaz. Finally," she wrote.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2020, the group of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company suffered a net loss of UAH 19.002 billion.

In March 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers agreed to extend the contract of Andrii Kobolev, board chairperson of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company, until March 22, 2024.

Kobolev was appointed to the post of the board chairperson of Naftogaz in March 2014.

Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company is a leading enterprise in the country's fuel and energy complex, which is engaged in exploration and development of deposits, drilling, storage of oil and gas, transportation of oil, as well as supplying gas to consumers.
