No One Vaccinated Against Coronavirus In Kyiv April 18

On April 18, not a person was vaccinated in Kyiv against the coronavirus.

The Health Ministry has written this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the data of the Health Ministry, on April 18, no one was vaccinated also in Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, and Chernihiv regions.

On April 17, a total of 186 people were vaccinated in Kyiv.

The vaccination waiting list as of April 18 contained 468,490 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 18, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine decreased 56.4% over April 17 to 1,453.

Since the start of the vaccination campaign, a total of 450,647 people have been vaccinated, and five people completed vaccination (received two doses).

On April 17, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine decreased 74.4% over April 16 to 3,333.

On April 18, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 6,506 over April 17 to 1,953,016, and the number of deaths increased by 214 over April 17 to 40,000; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 36.7%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 14.4%.

According to the report, as of the morning of April 19, a total of 1,953,016 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 40,000 fatal cases; 1,487,677 people had recovered.

On April 18, a total of 6,506 new disease cases were recorded, 214 people died, and 5,598 people recovered.

Therefore, as of April 18, the number of newly-infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (6,506 vs 5,598).

The number of coronavirus-infected people as of the morning of April 19 was 425,339, up 0.16% over April 18.

Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (185,339), Odesa region (126,828), and Kharkiv region (126,061).
