On March 28, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine decreased by 2.9 times over March 27 to 1,585.
The Health Ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
No one was vaccinated with the second vaccine dose on March 28.
Since the start of the vaccination campaign, a total of 198,465 people have been vaccinated.
As of March 28, a total of 364,104 people signed up for the vaccination against the Covid-19.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 27, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine decreased by 3.9 times over March 26 to 4,616.
On March 28, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 8,346 over March 27 to 1,652,409, and the number of deaths increased by 178 over March 27 to 32,132; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 30.1%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 12.3%.
According to the report, as of the morning of March 29, a total of 1,579,906 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 32,132 fatal cases; 1,303,500 people had recovered.
On March 23, a total of 8,346 new disease cases were recorded, 178 people died, and 2,875 people recovered.
Therefore, as of March 28, the number of newly-infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (8,346 vs. 2,875).
The number of coronavirus-infected people as of the morning of March 29 was 316,777, up 1.7% over March 28.
Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (159,769), Odesa region (105,833), and Kharkiv region (102,136).
