NBU Does Not Enter Interbank Market March 22-26

In the period of March 22-26, the National Bank of Ukraine did not enter the interbank foreign currency market.

The NBU has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Since the start of the year, the NBU has acquired USD 230.5 million and sold USD 20 million at a uniform rate.

Besides, it has acquired USD 60 million using the Matching mechanism.

In 2020, the NBU acquired USD 4,929 million and sold USD 3,891 million on the interbank foreign currency market.

In particular, it acquired USD 478.5 million and sold USD 802 million using the Matching mechanism.

Within the framework of foreign currency auctions, the NBU sold USD 270.1 million and did not acquire any foreign currency.

In particular, the NBU acquired USD 4,450.5 million and sold USD 2,818.9 million at a uniform rate.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2018, the NBU acquired USD 3,173.78 million and USD 1,801.82 million on the interbank foreign currency market.

In 2019, the NBU acquired USD 8,462.6 million and sold USD 529.23 million.
