Number Of Coronavirus-Infected People In Kyiv City Up 1,210 To 151,133 On March 18, Number Of Deaths Up 24 To 3,015 – Klitschko

On March 18, the number of coronavirus-infected people in the city of Kyiv rose by 1,210 over March 17 to 151,133, and the number of deaths increased by 24 to 3,015.

Kyiv City Mayor / Chairperson of the Kyiv City State Administration, Vitali Klitschko, announced this at a briefing, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

There were 691 women aged 18-93, 462 men aged 18-93, 28 girls aged 1-17, and 29 boys aged 1-17 among the people infected with the coronavirus on March 18.

On March 18, a total of 129 patients were hospitalized and 258 recovered.

Since the start of the epidemic, the number has made 100,804 Kyivans.

The largest number of coronavirus cases was registered in Darnytskyi district (302), Dniprovskyi district (201), and Desnianskyi district (184).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 17, the number of coronavirus-infected people in the city of Kyiv rose by 1,092 over March 16 to 149,923, and the number of deaths increased by 30 to 2,991.

On March 18, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 15,850 over March 17 to 1,519,926, and the number of deaths increased by 262 over March 17 to 29,515; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 5.3%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 2%.

According to the report, as of the morning of March 19, a total of 1,519,926 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 29,515 fatal cases; 1,248,782 people had recovered.

On March 18, a total of 15,850 new disease cases were recorded, 262 people died, and 4,592 people recovered.

Therefore, as of March 18, the number of newly-infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (15,850 vs. 4,592).

The number of coronavirus-infected people as of the morning of March 19 was 241,629, up 4.8% over March 18.

Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (151,133), Odesa region (95,807), and Kharkiv region (93,327).
