NBU Buys USD 110 Million On Interbank Market February 8-12

In the period of February 8-12, the National Bank of Ukraine acquired USD 110 million on the interbank foreign currency market.

The NBU has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The NBU acquired USD 70 million at a uniform rate and USD 40 million using the Matching mechanism.

Since the start of the year, the central bank has acquired USD 180 million and sold USD 20 million at a uniform rate.

Besides, since the start of the year, the NBU acquired USD 60 million iusing the Matching mechanism.

In 2020, the NBU acquired USD 4,929 million and sold USD 3,891 million on the interbank foreign currency market.

Besides, in 2020, the central bank acquired USD 478.5 million and sold USD 802 million using the Matching mechanism.

The NBU sold USD 270.1 million via foreign currency auctions.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2018, the NBU acquired USD 3,173.78 million and sold USD 1,801.82 million on the interbank foreign currency market.

In 2019, the NBU acquired USD 8,462.6 million and sold USD 529.23 million on the interbank market.
