The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), following the National Anticorruption Bureau (NACB), has put former head of the State Tax Service, Serhii Verlanov, on the wanted list.
That follows from the data posted on the Ministry of Interior Affairs’ wanted list database, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the data, Verlanov got out of sight of law enforcers on December 21, 2020.
He is escaping the pre-trial investigation’s bodies and accused of abuse of power as the State Tax Service head.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the NACB had previously put Verlanov on the wanted list.
