On January 13, the number of coronavirus-infected people in the city of Kyiv rose by 794 over January 12 to 120,186, and the number of deaths rose by 13 to 2,128.

Kyiv City Mayor / Chairperson of the Kyiv City State Administration, Vitali Klitschko, has written this on Telegram, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

There were 453 women aged 19-85; 325 men aged 18-85; 10 girls aged 1-17; and six boys aged 3-16 among the people infected with the coronavirus on January 13.

Besides, 24 medical workers fell ill.

On January 13, a total of 49 people were hospitalized, and the rest are staying in self-isolation.

Besides, on January 13, a total of 699 residents of Kyiv recovered.

Since the start of the epidemic, 45,527 Kyivans have recovered.

On January 13, the largest number of coronavirus cases was registered in Darnytskyi district - 136, Dniprovskyi district – 126, and Solomiyanskyi district– 116.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 12, the number of coronavirus-infected people in the city of Kyiv rose by 906 over January 11 to 119,392, and the number of deaths rose by 13 to 2,128.

On January 13, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 7,925 over January 12 to 1,138,764, and the number of deaths increased by 162 over January 12 to 20,376; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 23.7%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 16.9%.

According to the report, as at the morning of January 14, there were 1,138,764 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine, the number included 20,376 lethal cases; besides, 837,063 people had recovered.

On January 13, a total of 7,925 new cases of the disease were recorded, 162 people died, and 10,192 people recovered.

Therefore, as at January 13, the indicator of newly-infected people was higher than the number of those, who recovered (10,192 vs 7,925).

As at the morning of January 14, the overall number of those, who are staying ill with the Covid-19 (less the recovered and died) made 281,325, down 0.8% over January 13.

Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (120,186), Odesa region (77,160), and Kharkiv region (73,840).
