On December 14, the number of coronavirus-infected people in the city of Kyiv rose by 1,559 over December 13 to 93,302, and the number of deaths rose by 13 to 1,610.
Kyiv City Mayor / Chairperson of the Kyiv City State Administration, Vitali Klitschko, has written this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
There were 837 women aged 18-91; 618 men aged 18-89; 46 girls aged 1m-17y; and 58 boys aged 3-17 among the people infected with the coronavirus on December 14.
Besides, 43 medical workers fell ill.
A total of 75 people were hospitalized in the capital.
The rest of the coronavirus-infected people are staying in self-isolation.
A total of 646 people recovered on December 14, and 29,550 have recovered since the start of the epidemic.
The largest number of coronavirus cases was registered in Darnytskyi district – 358, in Dniprovskyi district – 280, and in Desnianskyi district – 176.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 13, the number of coronavirus-infected people in the city of Kyiv rose by 605 over December 12 to 91,743, and the number of deaths rose by 13 to 1,597.
On December 14, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 8,416 over December 13 to 909,082, and the number of deaths increased by 233 over December 13 to 15,480; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 30.5%, and the number of new lethal cases rose 2.5 times.
According to the report, as at the morning of December 15, there were 909,082 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine, the number included 15,480 lethal cases; besides, 522,868 people had recovered.
On December 14, a total of 8,416 new cases of the disease were recorded, 233 people died, and 16,150 people recovered.
Therefore, as at December 14, the indicator of newly-infected people was lower than the number of those, who recovered (8,416 vs 16,150).
The number of the active sick (only those sick) as at the morning of December 15, made 370,734 people, down 2.1% day over day.
Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (93,302), Kharkiv region (62,708), and Odesa region (58,113).
