On December 10, a total of 39,519 polymerase chain reaction tests (PCR) were conducted, down 4.3% over December 9; and the number of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) decreased by 17.5% over December 9 to 21,328.
Health Ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Since the start of the year, a total of 4,957,299 polymerase chain reaction tests have been conducted.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 9, a total of 41,279 polymerase chain reaction tests (PCR) were conducted, up 9.1% over December 8; and the number of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) increased by 26.5% over December 8 to 25,863.
On December 10, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 13,514 over December 9 to 872,228, and the number of deaths increased by 285 over December 9 to 14,755; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 1.1%, and the number of new lethal cases fell by 7.1%.
According to the report, as at the morning of December 11, there were 872,228 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine, the number included 14,755 lethal cases; besides, 480,348 people had recovered.
On December 10, a total of 13,514 new cases of the disease were recorded, 285 people died, and 15,327 people recovered.
Therefore, as at December 10, the indicator of newly-infected people was lower than the number of those, who recovered (13,514 vs 15,327).
The number of the active sick (only those sick) as at the morning of December 11, made 377,125 people, down 0.55% day over day.
Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (88,317), Kharkiv region (61,424), and Odesa region (55,714).
