Health Ministry Classifies 36 Countries In "Red Zone" For COVID-19 Spread

The Ministry of Health, as of December 4, classified 36 countries in the "red zone" in terms of the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus disease.

The ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

At that, there is no data on the spread of the coronavirus infection regarding 12 states that fell into the "red zone".

In particular, Serbia, Armenia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, the United States, Montenegro, which are open for Ukrainian tourists, as well as Spain, the Czech Republic, Italy, Georgia, Poland, which are closed for Ukrainian tourists, are referred to the countries of the "red zone".

The countries of the "green zone" include the United Kingdom, the Bahamas, Ireland, Albania, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Seychelles, Comoros, Maldives, Kenya, Mexico, Brazil, open for Ukrainian tourists, as well as those closed to Ukrainian tourists: France, Israel, Russia, Canada, China, Germany, Cyprus and Tunisia.

In Ukraine, the incidence rate for the last 14 days per 100,000 people is 493.9.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in November Slovakia decided to temporarily suspend the operation of some checkpoints on the border with Ukraine due to the complication of the epidemic situation in the countries.
