On November 19, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine increased by 14,575 over November 18 to 598,085, and the number of deaths rose by 229 over November 18 to 10,598; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 9.1%, and the number of new lethal cases fell by 10.9%.
The National Security and Defense Council has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as at the morning of November 19, there were 598,085 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine, the number included 10,598 lethal cases; besides, 274,324 people had recovered.
On November 19, a total of 14,575 new cases of the disease were recorded, 229 people died, and 7,845 people recovered.
Therefore, as at November 19, the indicator of newly-infected people was higher than the number of those, who recovered (14,575 vs 7,845).
The number of the active sick (only those sick) as at November 20, made 313,163 people, up 2.1% day over day.
Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (56,594), Kharkiv region (50,252), and Lviv region (39,916).
Besides, Odesa region has registered a total of 36,053 coronavirus infection cases, Ivano-Frankivsk region – 30,684; Chernivtsi region – 30,143 cases, Kyiv region – 28,427, Rivne region – 27,054, Dnipropetrovsk region – 26,202, Zhytomyr region – 25,111, Ternopil region - 24,843, Zaporizhia region – 22,225, Sumy region – 20,872, and Zakarpattia region – 20,827.
A total of 20,651 cases have been registered in Volyn region, 19,223 cases – in Donetsk region, 17,403 cases – in Poltava region, 16,437 cases - in Cherkasy region, 14,857 cases - in Vinnytsia region, 14,181 cases – in Mykolayiv region, 13,159 cases – in Chernihiv region, 8,155 cases – in Kherson region, 5,474 cases – in Luhansk region, and 4,052 cases – in Kirovohrad region.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 18, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine increased by 13,357 over November 17 to 583,510, and the number of deaths rose by 257 over November 17 to 10,369; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 6.9%, and the number of new lethal cases rose by 0.4%.
On November 17, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine increased by 12,496 over November 16 to 570,153, and the number of deaths rose by 256 over November 16 to 10,112; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 4.4%, and the number of new lethal cases rose by 61%.
