On November 18, the number of coronavirus-infected people in Kyiv region rose by 785 over November 17 to 27,346, and the number of deaths increased by 14 to 535.
The Kyiv Regional State Administration has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
On November 18, a total of 30 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, and the rest were placed into self-isolation.
During the period of the epidemic, out of the total number of laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, a total of 2,825 patients were (are) in inpatient treatment, and 24,521 people were on outpatient treatment (under supervision).
A total of 10,600 people including 861 children aged from 1 month to 17 years recovered.
During the reporting day, 255 people including nine children were discharged.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 17, the number of coronavirus-infected people in Kyiv region rose by 774 over November 16 to 26,561, and the number of deaths increased by 15 to 586.
On November 18, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine increased by 13,357 over November 17 to 583,510, and the number of deaths rose by 257 over November 17 to 10,369; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 6.9%, and the number of new lethal cases rose by 0.4%.
According to the report, as at the morning of November 18, there were 583,510 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine, the number included 10,369 lethal cases; besides, 259,079 people had recovered.
On November 18, a total of 13,357 new cases of the disease were recorded, and 257 people died.
As at the morning of November 19, the number of the active sick (less those, who have recovered and died) was 314,062, up 4.2% day over day.
Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (55,203), Kharkiv region (49,618), and Lviv region (39,229).
