On November 18, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine increased by 13,357 over November 17 to 583,510, and the number of deaths rose by 257 over November 17 to 10,369; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 6.9%, and the number of new lethal cases rose by 0.4%.
The National Security and Defense Council has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as at the morning of November 18, there were 583,510 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine, the number included 10,369 lethal cases; besides, 259,079 people had recovered.
On November 18, a total of 13,357 new cases of the disease were recorded, and 257 people died.
As at the morning of November 19, the number of the active sick (less those, who have recovered and died) was 314,062, up 4.2% day over day.
Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (55,203), Kharkiv region (49,618), and Lviv region (39,229).
Besides, Odesa region has registered a total of 35,440 coronavirus infection cases, Ivano-Frankivsk region – 30,091; Chernivtsi region – 29,612 cases, Kyiv region – 27,347, Rivne region – 26,442, Dnipropetrovsk region – 25,028, Ternopil region – 24,552 , Zhytomyr region - 24,542, Khmelnytskyi region – 24,485, Zaporizhia region – 21,481, Zakarpattia region – 20,463, and Volyn region – 20,150.
A total of 20,124 cases have been registered in Sumy region, 18,790 cases – in Donetsk region, 16,935 cases – in Poltava region, 15,759 cases - in Cherkasy region, 14,532 cases - in Vinnytsia region, 13,769 cases – in Mykolayiv region, 12,656 cases – in Chernihiv region, 7,946 cases – in Kherson region, 5,385 cases – in Luhansk region, and 3,931 cases – in Kirovohrad region.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 17, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine increased by 12,496 over November 16 to 570,153, and the number of deaths rose by 256 over November 16 to 10,112; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 4.4%, and the number of new lethal cases rose by 61%.
On November 16, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine increased by 11,968 over November 15 to 557,657, and the number of deaths rose by 159 over November 15 to 9,856; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 21.7%, and the number of new lethal cases rose by 69.1%.
