Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 4.2% To 10,611, Number Of New Lethal Cases Stable At 191 On November 10 – NSDC

On November 10, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine increased by 10,611 over November 9 to 489,808, and the number of deaths rose by 191 over November 9 to 8,947; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 4.2%, and the number of new lethal cases remained unchanged.

The National Security and Defense Council has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as at the morning of November 11, there were 489,808 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine, the number included 8,947 lethal cases; besides, 221,459 people had recovered.

On November 10, a total of 10,611 new cases of the disease were recorded, 6,802 people recovered, 191 people died.

Therefore, on November 10, the indicator of newly-infected people was higher than the number of those, who recovered (10,611 vs 6,802).

As at the morning of November 11, the number of the active sick (less those, who have recovered and died) was 259,402, up 1.4% day over day.

Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (46,632), Kharkiv region (44,948), and Lviv region (34,988).

Besides, Odesa region has registered a total of 30,041 coronavirus infection cases, Chernivtsi region – 26,301; Ivano-Frankivsk region – 25,643 cases, Rivne region – 23,035, Ternopil region – 22,549, Kyiv region – 21,731, Khmelnytskyi region – 20,826, Zhytomyr region - 20,194, Dnipropetrovsk region – 18,690, Zakarpattia region – 18,056, Volyn region – 17,236, and Sumy region – 15,662 cases.

A total of 15,285 cases have been recorded in Zaporizhia region, 15,066 cases – in Donetsk region, 13,143 cases - in Poltava region, 12,970 cases - in Vinnytsia region, 11,092 cases – in Mykolayiv region, 11,063 cases – in Cherkasy region, 10,564 cases – in Chernihiv region, 6,075 cases – in Kherson region, 4,738 cases – in Luhansk region, and 3,280 cases – in Kirovohrad region.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 9, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine increased by 10,842 over November 8 to 479,197, and the number of deaths rose by 191 over November 8 to 8,756; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 24.8%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 66.1%.

On November 8, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine increased by 8,687 over November 7 to 469,018, and the number of deaths rose by 115 over November 7 to 8,565; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 7.6%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 16.7%.
