On November 9, the number of coronavirus-infected people in the city of Kyiv rose by 747 over November 8 to 45,667, and the number of deaths rose by 22 to 894.
Kyiv City Mayor / Chairperson of the Kyiv City State Administration, Vitali Klitschko, has written this on Telegram, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
There were 417 women aged 19-83; 292 men aged 21-89; 22 girls aged 1-17; and 16 boys aged 8m-16y among the people infected with the coronavirus on November 9.
Besides, the number includes 41 medical workers.
A total of 74 people were hospitalized and the rest are staying in self-isolation.
A total of 337 people recovered on November 9.
A total of 17,004 Kyiv residents have recovered from the Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic.
The largest number of coronavirus cases was registered in Desnianskyi district - 145, Dniprovskyi district – 103, and in Podilskyi district - 82.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 8, the number of coronavirus-infected people in the city of Kyiv rose by 748 over November 7 to 44,920, and the number of deaths rose by five to 872.
On November 9, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine increased by 10,842 over November 8 to 479,197, and the number of deaths rose by 191 over November 8 to 8,756; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 24.8%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 66.1%.
According to the report, as at the morning of November 10, there were 479,197 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine, the number included 8,756 lethal cases; besides, 214,657 people had recovered.
On November 9, a total of 10,842 new cases of the disease were recorded, 5,514 people recovered, 191 people died.
Therefore, on November 9, the indicator of newly-infected people was higher than the number of those, who recovered (10,842 vs 5,514).
As at the morning of November 10, the number of the active sick (less those, who have recovered and died) was 255,784, up 1.8% day over day.
Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (45,667), Kharkiv region (44,466), and Lviv region (34,304).
