Number Of Coronavirus-Infected People In Kyiv City Up 308 Persons To 34,362 On October 25, Number Of Deaths Up 15 To 699 – Klitschko

On October 25, the number of coronavirus-infected people in the city of Kyiv rose by 308 over October 24 to 34,362, and the number of deaths rose by 15 to 699.

Kyiv City Mayor / Chairperson of the Kyiv City State Administration, Vitali Klitschko, announced this at his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, on October 25, the number of coronavirus-infected people included 168 women aged 20-84; four girls aged 9 months – 15 years; 131 men aged 18-91; and five boys aged 11-17.

Besides, the overall number of newly-infected people included 13 medical workers.

The largest number of coronavirus cases was registered in Obolonskyi district – 83, Desnianskyi district – 44, and Dniprovskyi district – 43.

A total of 42 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized and the rest are staying in self-isolation.

A total of 1,856 coronavirus-infected people are staying at hospitals of the capital.

On October 25, five people recovered, and since the start of the epidemic, the number has made 11,749.

On October 25, a total of 15 people died, and since the start of the epidemic, the number has made 699.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 24, the number of coronavirus-infected people in the city of Kyiv rose by 359 over October 23 to 34,100, and the number of deaths rose by 10 to 684.

On October 25, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine increased by 5,426 over October 24 to 348,924, and the number of deaths rose by 73 over October 24 to 6,464; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 10.9%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 28.4%.

According to the report, as at the morning of October 26, there were 348,924 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine, the number included 6,464 lethal cases; besides, 142,537 people had recovered.

During the day, 5,426 new cases of the disease were recorded, 1,029 people recovered, 73 people died.

Therefore, on October 25, the indicator of newly-infected people was higher than the number of those, who recovered (5,426 vs 1,029).

As at the morning of October 26, the number of the active sick (less those, who have recovered and died) was 199,923, up 2.2% day over day.

Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (34,362), Kharkiv region (33,250), and Lviv region (27,608).
