Health Ministry Classifies 51 Countries As "Red Zone" For COVID-19 Spread

As of October 23, the Ministry of Health classified 51 countries as countries of the "red zone" for the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus disease.

The ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

At that, there is no data on the spread of coronavirus infection regarding 13 states that fell into the "red zone".

In particular, the countries of the "red zone" include Armenia, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Ireland, the United Kingdom, the United States, the Bahamas, Montenegro, which are open for Ukrainian tourists, as well as Spain, France, Czech Republic, Israel, Moldova, Georgia, Poland, which are closed for Ukrainian tourists.

The countries of the "green zone" include Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Seychelles, Comoros, Maldives, Kenya, Mexico, which are open for Ukrainian tourists, as well as Russia, Italy, Canada, China, Germany, Cyprus and Tunisia, which are closed for Ukrainian tourists.

In Ukraine, the incidence rate for the last 14 days per 100,000 is 200.8.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the list of countries to which Ukrainian tourists are allowed to enter has expanded from the beginning of September by 6 to 58.

Ukraine does not meet the criteria for the unimpeded movement of its citizens in the countries of the European Union.
