In March 2019, consumer prices rose by 0.9%.
The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
At the same time, in March, foodstuff and soft drinks prices rose by 0.4%, prices for clothes and footwear increased by 11.3%, cost of housing-public utility services rose by 0.3%, health care services increased in cost by 0.4% and cost of education rose by 0.1%.
In March 2019, consumer prices rose by 8.6% over March 2018.
Inflation in the first three months of 2019 made 2.4%.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in February 2019, consumer prices rose by 0.5%, and in the first two months of 2019 the inflation made 1.5%.
In 2018, inflation was 9.8%; 13.7% in 2017; 12.4% in 2016; 43.3% in 2015; 24.9% in 2014; 0.5% in 2013.
The state budget for 2019 expects inflation of 7.4%.
