Finance Ministry Places Hryvnia-Denominated Government Bonds For UAH 6.8 Billion And Foreign Currency-Denominated Bonds For USD 122 Million On April 2

On April 2, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine placed hryvnia-denominated government domestic loan bonds for UAH 6.8 billion and foreign currency-denominated bonds for USD 122 million.

The ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The ministry placed the hryvnia-denominated bonds with the maturity of 105 days for UAH 3,200.072 million at 19.5% per annum, 189 days for UAH 1,142.604 million at 19% per annum, 364 days for UAH 2,136.251 million at 18.5% per annum and 546 days for UAH 292.664 million at 18.25% per annum.

Besides, it placed foreign currency-denominated bonds with the maturity of 120 days for USD 120.979 million at 6.5% per annum and 365 days for USD 1.202 million at 7.25% per annum.

The ministry managed to attract UAH 10,088.875 million to the state budget.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2018, the Finance Ministry attracted UAH 65.128 billion, USD 3.478 billion and EUR 503 million to the state budget from the placement of government domestic loan bonds.
