In 2019, Ukraine is expected to pay UAH 151.02 billion or USD 5.6 billion (hryvnia exchange rate as at February 11) on foreign debts. The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports. Besides, Ukraine has to redeem foreign debts of UAH 100.28 billion and service the ones for UAH 50.73 billion (UAH 3.7 billion and USD 1.9 billion). In the first quarter of 2019, Ukraine will have to redeem and service foreign debts for UAH 13.23 billion and UAH 19.68 billion respective; UAH 44.69 billion and UAH 5.74 billion in the second quarter of 2019; UAH 37.37 billion and UAH 20.19 billion in the third quarter of 2019; and UAH 5 billion and UAH 5.12 billion respectively in the fourth quarter of 2019. In 2020, Ukraine will have to pay UAH 173.31 billion or USD 6.44 billion. This year, Ukraine will have to spend UAH 277.35 billion to service the foreign debt. On the whole, in 2019, Ukraine will need UAH 428.37 billion to service the state debt. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in February 2019, Ukraine paid about USD 450 million to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
