Official Unemployment Down 0.1 p.p. To 1.1% In August

In August 2018, the official unemployment decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 1.1%.

The State Statistic Service of Ukraine has said this, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As at September 1, 292,800 unemployed people were registered by the State Employment Service (298,000 as at August 1).

In August, the number of vacancies was 100,300 (three people claimed for one position).

In August, the average employment pay amounted to UAH 2,562.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in July 2018, the official unemployment remained at 1.2%.
