The National Police of Ukraine says there are six suspects in the case on assassination attempt on Kateryna Handziuk, the acting chief administrative officer of the Kherson Mayor’s Office and an anti-corruption activist.
National Police head Serhii Kniazev announced this to the press, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
He said a court will select a measure of preventive punishment for two suspects on August 22.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Kherson city court has ordered two-month detention of other two suspects without any option of bail in the case on assassination attempt on Handziuk.
On August 20, Kniazev said the National Police suspected five people of involvement in the attack on Handziuk.
On July 31, an unknown person splashed acid into the face of Handziuk in Kherson.
