In his e-declaration for 2017 Bloc of Petro Poroshenko lawmaker Hlib Zagoriy disclosed owing 89 patents and trademarks (in pharmaceutical sphere mostly). Zagoriy has also given Hr 1.5 million for charity, according to the information, he filed in the State Unified Registry of Electronic Declarations.
His asset declaration reads, Zagoriy is the beneficiary owner of “Pharmaceutical Firm Darnitsa”, PJSC SIC “Borshchagivskiy CPP” and many other enterprises.
Zagoriy also declared a 264 square kilometers apartment registered on his son and other real estates.
Zagoriy also disclosed tenancy rights on a 40 778 square meters’ land plot, 271,5 square meters’ apartment, and 423,7 square meters’ office.
The MP declared owning Tesla SP85D (2015), MERCEDES-BENZ S 63 AMG (2014).
His wife Ekaterina Zagoriy is an owner of RANGE ROVER и MERCEDES-BENZ G 63 AMG (2014).
As for his income, Zagoriy disclosed Hr 228,464 lawmaker’s wage, as well as additional income from his side jobs – scientific activity in two universities: National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education and Kyiv National University of Technology and Design.
Zagoriy said he transfers all the income from the scientific activity, as well as his MP’s salary for charity.
The lawmaker explained Hr 320 million income his wife Ekaterina Zagoriy got from selling shares and corporate rights.
Zagoriy said, that a declarant isn’t supposed to disclose his family members spending in his declaration. But in 2017 his family spent more than Hr 311 million during shares and corporate rights financial operations.
So to get the actual profit of the family the one needs to source Hr 311 million spending from Hr 320 million income and add the coupon profit from security papers.
So the real income of his wife was not Hr 320 million, but only some Hr 11 million, Zagoriy said.
In his e-declaration, Zagoriy also disclosed getting Hr 3 million “fees and other payments under independent contractor contracts” and also Hr 9.22 million royalty from of “Pharmaceutical Firm Darnitsa”.
Hlib Zagoriy also has Hr 34,9 million on bank accounts in Ukrainian banks – Oshchadbank, Ukrsibbank, and others.
He also disclosed keeping $2.2 million, 425,000 euros and Hr 5.9 million in cash.
The lawmaker also has Hr 30 million debtor indebtedness for corporate rights and lent $ 1 million to the third persons.
E-declarations registry reads, in 2017 Hlib Zagoriy donated Hr 1.5 million for charity.
As for other valuable assets, Zagoriy declared weapon, sleeve buttons, antique, a collection of XX century sculpture and pectoral art. Zagoriy also declared a collection of Ukrainian national costumes, carpets and other objects of art, belonged to his wife.
In 2016 Zagoriy declared 88 patents and an Hr 2.6 million charity donation. He earned Hr 135,465 as a lawmaker.
MP also got Hr 15 million “fees and other payments under independent contractor contracts” and also Hr 7.17 million royalty from of “Pharmaceutical Firm Darnitsa”.
His wife Ekaterina Zagoriy earned Hr 174.7 million from selling corporate rights, but her actual profit, including spending and coupon profit from security papers, was some Hr 6 million.
