In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin has appreciated by 2.69% to USD 8,550.
Ukrainian News Agency learnt this from the CoinMarketCap data.
At that, Bitcoin's capitalization as at Tuesday made USD 144.7 billion.
In the last 24 hours, the cost of transactions has made USD 6.5 billion.
The second in terms of the capitalization is the Ethereum cryptocurrency with a capitalization of USD 53.3 billion.
It is noted that totally 16.929 million Bitcoin coins have already been received.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Bank of Ukraine, National Commission for Securities and the National Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets have refused to recognize cryptocurrencies as a payment instrument, cash equivalent or currencies of any value.
