Negative Balance Of Foreign Trade In Goods USD 284.1 Million In January

In January, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 284.1 million.

The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In January, the balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 248.8 million year over year (negative balance in January 2017 was USD 35.3 million).

In January, Ukraine exported goods for USD 3,724.2 million, 23.5% or USD 709.7 million more year over year.

In January, Ukraine imported goods for USD 4,008.3 million, 31.4% or USD 958.5 million more year over year.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2017, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 6,331.9 million.

In 2016, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 2,885.8 million.

In 2016, the balance of trade in goods worsen by USD 3,496.5 million year over year (positive balance in 2015 was USD 610.7 million).
