Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has not yet decided on the format for participation in the elections of the Verkhovna Rada members.
He said this at a briefing, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"I said that I will take part in the parliamentary elections. While it's hard for me to say about the format of this participation, but I know for sure that I will go absolutely honestly and openly with like-minded people," he said.
He also noted that he is against the early parliamentary elections.
At the same time, according to him, it's time to prepare for the next elections.
"The basic question is the model of the electoral system for the next parliamentary elections ... I believe that open lists of parliamentary parties will be very well received from the point of view of the responsibility of the parliament, and on the other hand, through open lists the majority system will also be able to function - it will be complex system," he added.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier the chairperson of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction Artur Herasymov stated that the Bloc is always ready for the elections - early or next.
